We are looking for an experienced sustainability and environmental manager to join our team as maternity cover for a minimum of 12 months, with the possibility of extending further. The role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. You will take on a central role in advising our clients on sustainability and communication with a particular focus on environmental topics, including climate, nature, and new business practices that support the transition to a regenerative economy.
The ideal candidate combines strategic acumen with a hands-on approach, can navigate complexity with clarity, and brings curiosity and empathy to client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead client engagements across sustainability and communication, from project setup to delivery (including project management, budgeting, controlling, and capacity planning).
Provide expert advice, analysis, and recommendations on sustainability and environmental topics, especially climate impact, nature-positive strategies, and regenerative business approaches.
Translate complex sustainability and business challenges into clear strategies, frameworks, and actionable roadmaps.
Build strong, trust-based client relationships and act as a sparring partner for sustainability and brand leads.
Contribute to the development of new service offerings, proposals, and pitches.
You’d Be A Great Fit If You
Have 6+ years of experience in sustainability strategy and implementation, ideally leading high-profile projects within a corporate environment.
Have strong expertise in environmental topics such as climate impact, nature and biodiversity, circular economy, and/or regenerative business practices.
Can demonstrate a proven ability to develop strategic frameworks, write clear recommendations, and lead client projects end-to-end.
Are a confident communicator in English (German is a plus).
Are empathetic, structured, and proactive - someone who enjoys turning complex challenges into clarity and collaboration.
